Call For Entry: March 1, 2025 – March 30, 2025

Juried Event: This Crossroads Art Center’s Show is open to Local Ceramic Artists through a call for entries, and cash prizes are awarded for the winners. Each show is juried by a prominent art professional from the community (a gallery director, curator, museum official, arts professor, or accomplished artist). Cash awards are given for 1st ($100), 2nd ($75), and 3rd ($50) place winners. The shows are exhibited at Crossroads Art Center and as an online exhibition where customers can shop directly from the website. All work must involve ceramics/clay to be considered for this exhibition.

This exhibition will be a part of the May Open House at Crossroads Art Center that takes place on Friday, May 16 from 5pm – 8pm as well as the RVA Clay Studio Tour on June 7th & 8th, 2025.

Accepted work will be shown LIVE at Crossroads Art Center starting May 16th, as well as Online on the website starting April 25th.

Juror: Steven Glass

Steven is the Resident Potter at VMFA. He has had solo exhibitions in Seoul, South Korea and London, England and did residencies in each country. He studied in Rome, Italy with Nino Caruso. In conjunction with last year’s NCECA Ceramic Conference in Richmond, he had a Retrospective Exhibition at The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design.
